I am working on it. I have ten more days of just work and no school. So it is a goal to get caught up on my shoe purchases. I will also do a round up of 2011 for me, also thinking of including my nail polish love on here...and maybe fashion? I am just curvy and do not have the clothes some of my favorite fashion bloggers do....so it is a leap for me. For now I will go with just posting my shoes again then atleast a once a week nail one...how is that??

Phew! It has been to loong!

Not since I bought or wore adorable shoes that make me want to walk around naked just so people look at them.

What?

If I was naked people would only have my shoes to stare at!

Anywwwwaaays.

So I figure it is high time I get my Alaskan tail in gear and start posting some shoes, but been so long I got to actually go through my closet and make a section of shoes I have bought since last posted regularly and make sure I take pictures wearing them.

Ones that accent them anyways.

But recently while on a 12 day cruise through the Greek Isles, Croatia, Turkey and Montenegro....

I happened to take a picture of just my feet. I know I can post full body shots wearing the shoes, but not sure I want to go from just a shoe blog to a fashion blog...maybe soon. For now though in order to focus just on the wonderful soles.

Now I usually never, ever regret a purchase. But these cheap snakeskin shoes?

oh yeah.

Regretting.

I figured if I am being "real" with my blogging I would share these. I saw these for a shoedazzle purchase in June. I figured... " What the heck"

They seemed to be daring, bold blue, I could wear them with a black dress, out to a bar. I would not wear them to the store or work. I know the black snakskin pattern is not "day" wear.

But I got them in. Opened the pretty box

and

SHUT IT REAL QUICK!!

They stayed up in my closet. Hiding in "blue hearted" shame.

I figured try to wear them out.

They felt cheap, looked cheap, hurt my feet.

Sad day.

Now just need to find a home for them.

That is not the garbage dump.

They may be cheap, but I figure there is a stripper out there who needs these bad girls.

I am soooo thankful, school starts tommorow. So that means MORE BLOGGING TIME.
My job is working with middle schoolers, for CYS, on the base. Which is awesome, works well for part time since I am still in school and have my siblings and my husband to have a life with.=) BUT during the summer, my hours doubled, sometimes tripled every week. Sooo coming soon to a blog near you.

Awesome buys from my trip to Italy, several new pairs of shoes, and um...I will come up with something.lol.

I hope you all have had a good summer, I will probally do a " currently my life" post as well. Lots to come.

No shoe posts from recently, because it is so hot here, don't like to be inside, it is my birthday month, so figure wait for gifts and cards to come in and the most important one.

I PUT MYSELF ON A SHOPPING BAN!!

July 1st-July 31st.

No more than $25 for the month, on items that are not needed...ie: makeup, clothes, purses and SHOES.

But I needed to do this, I have been going over my shoe budget and April, May and June were some good months for my shoe collection.

Okay so just wanted to put that out there, but OH..I have been looking at shoes and If I get get any gift cards or birthday money .IT doesnt count...?? Right?

I need to make my budget last..

HEEEELLLPPP MEEEEE!

I have a monthly shoe budget of $100 smack-a-roos

Sometimes I might go over by like twenty, but I try to stay true to it. Unless I do more clothes shopping. Which spoiled me, is another budget.

(sidenote: I gave myself these limits)

But this month just barely started, I got a pair from shoedazzle already. So I have $60 left and I want these shoes..

Sooo how about these STEVE MADDEN'S ? OH HELP ME. I adore them, I can not find them on 6.pm or anywhere else yet. But $129??? Way over my monthly budget.. Eeek. Plus that is on sale. The only downside to them is the 5 inch heel, I dont mind a good heel and I love being almost 5"10 flat foot..but sometimes...I just do not want to be towering over my man. Jeez though, look at the detail.

Okay and then what about these??

Two Lips, @$79 on sale they are not bad, if I do not want anything else all month. The wacky heel is really neat and I would be so excited to own them. But not sure if it is worth my whole shoe budget. You???

Oh and how AMAZINGLY SEXY AND UNQUIE are these, Colin Stuarts. They are on sale for $49. Wow, just meeeeeooow. Maybe can get these and another pair of Colin's. sigh. But I don't just want those.

These Colin Stuarts are waaay affordable at $29.99, So I might get one pair for sure this month. But what I really want?? The orange, black and brown ones.=) See my problem!

Lastly, are these quaint flower detailed Miss Sixty's
@ $119 though, not sure. I prefer quainty with the power of the internet. I mean you can get your quailty, comfy, last forever, brand that you love shoes in multiple pairs. Not like back in the day where you couldn't..but I too believe in sometimes just splurrrge. Plus I do not have any Miss Sixty's.

BBQ's and SHOES

I am sooooooooooooooo gobbling up the cute flats that are everywhere this month. Even in the June issue of the US Cosmo they are going on about flats. Walmart and Old Navy have some adorable ones, and that pair of Steve Madden sandals( which would be my whole shoe budget for the month) are just begging to come home with me. Anyways, check out that page. Good deals!!

My last two grabs before the Month was over!

THESE Steve Madden, Suede Heels is what put me over my budget. But, well see, I am a bit of competitive gal and this other gal came in and the last day started trying to take these from me. While I had orginally said I would not pay over the um, 20 bucks I had left in my budget, well that did not happen, she started by just raising by a few dollars, then she put me into the 40's. Well lucky me, the time difference made the auction end in the early wee mornings over there. Soooo HAHAHAHA LOOOOOSER. I mean sorry for you loss, but I got them, I paid $47 bucks, but they retail at like $100 something.

Aren't they lovely? I can not wait to dance in them and have them swish.

So I got these nice Jessica Simpson flats, where is??? Shoe Metro via ebay. I paid with $16.79 not including shipping.

Hey y'all! I hope everyone had a good weekend. Especially those that really understand the meaning of the Memorial Day, the sub-culture that is this miltary life. Not saying others don't understand, but sometimes it is like that inside joke. You can laugh, but you don't full down in the belly laugh unless you are part of it. To me that is how miltary life is. You can try to understand the pain, craziness, tightness, up hill battle, all the while worth it struggle of your "normal" life, but unless you are inside it. You just don't get it. Which is fine.

But anyways, thank you to my hubby, who even though he is serving here overseas, and being on an international base does not get him most American Holiday's off. I thank him for his service, I thank those other dear soilders, that through him I have come to know and love. Thank you to those that have fallen in the past and those that will fall in the future. God Bless America.

Also, God Bless America and the food we can cook up.=) We had our bbq on Sunday at a friends house. Ooooh yummmy, let me tell you what too, I have eaten quite a bunch of different countries foods. BUT USA, is the top. Because we get all those different people, from all those diffferent countries coming to USA, then it gets flipped, added to and made better(only in my opinion) and WAHHHBAM. Yum-o. Plus I have fed Germans, Belgians, British, Italins and Romanians, they love the flavor we add to our dishes. Sigh. Anyways so we had our nice bbq in an overcast sky. The strong miltary, multi country service memebers, should say men aka boys, decided to use all the ice and water from the coolers and one by one soak each other. It was awesome.

Okay enough of that for now. Sorry I started to just ramble, if you even read this far. I made sure I put the new shoes I bought over the weekend at the top. I had to get my last May purchases in. I went over budget a lil bit, but, better than I did in April.=)

Okay on with some recent shoe purchases...

Above pair: Nine West, satin pumps via ebay for a big ole whopper of a price. $21 with shipping. Now as for those that might, I say might, be new here, I never buy used shoes on ebay. Nothing against it and I will buy other used stuff, but shoes to me, fall under the undergarment area...ONLY NEW. So that is even better of a price right?

Oh and guess what? These are my first gladiator sandals. I have some that are kinda like this style, but I just did not get into last summer, and I know that they are hot still, but I just always kinda like buying when things have run their course of being " it" or right before they do.

Above pair: Steve Madden, snake skin printed flats. This is also via ebay. But it is a seller I have never used before and one that has under 100. Which is the feedback rating, when a 100 people have bought from people, I usually feel pretty good. But I do not have snake print, I have several other animal print, but not snake. Plus for $17 bucks, can't beat it.

Well shoot, my laptop just told me 25% battery left...so gotta close this entry out. I have some pics of some purchases from Target.com to post, but another day perhaps.

40 and Fab? Or maybe needing some work?

I am refering to this being my 40th post and that my blogging needs some work. If you are in your 40's..based on some women I know in real life and on blogs...you do not need work. You are 40 and fab.=)

I will be coming up soon with some pictures of shoes I wore in Spain, actually one of them well be a full body pic. Eeeeekkk!! I have not done this well cause, I am currently in the battle to loose weight and do not enjoy my body and did not want the world to see me as a "big" girl. Atleast on the blog. How lame is that? I am me, for whatever that stands for. I am me. Soooo I figure if y'all love my shoes, I do not have to only show shoe posts, I mean not jumping into fashion blogging or anything, this is still feet obession over here. I also work at a teen center, so the clothing posts would get stagnt rather quickly. But if I slip in a full body post....oh well.

Just a post to show me wearing some of my new shoes. Been awhile since I actually posted me wearing some. Then I threw in an old pair of Uggs. I mean who didn't love these? I mean the trend made them typical, but I just put them away till it was not the "in" thing. Then volia, Europe is boot and Ugg look a like central. Sooo still try to not wear them, but when it is cold. They come out. Hope everyone had a good weekend. We are sad this St. Patty's Day, this time last year we were in Dublin, Ireland. But still will try to make it a good one. Since we are going to

host a Beerbbq, yes I call them that. Wonder why??=)

So I follow this amazin lady called Sal, over at Already Pretty.

Yep click that link to go read her. She always has posts that get the readers to comment and has this spunky little personaility that seems to just flow from her outfit posts to her posts about random things. So she recently posted an entry called " Fashion Confessionals", I loved the idea and remember reading her first one last year.

But over 70 comments on hers and as I got to reading around 30 something, I thought, how does she read all of it? But she reads each comment and mine would probally just blend in. So I thought I am going to just quickly tell her I loved her idea and I wanted to post one myself. If she minds I will delete it.

So here I am, admitting to..my dirty, dark...fashion faux paux or annoying little habits.

Hoping that I can get some comments on back about YOUR dirty lil ones too..

Okay

Here goes nothing...

1. I will sit in the mirror and nick pick all my lil flaws, and the lil scars that my hubby says no one can see and hate it. Then I will turn around and search for any teeny tiny lil black head or zit. I have to pick it. I use q-tips to be gentle sometimes, BUT I HAVE TO. I mean it is a horrible thing. I need help.=)

2. I have to use about 20 q-tips a day, I clean my ears spotless, my deep innie belly button and ready for it...my nose. I refuse to stick a finger up there and yet I hate the feeling of anything in there, so after each shower, each day...nose cleaning. I know number 2 and you are already grossed out.

3. I like my expensive shoes cheap and never have paid full price for any pair I have bought.

4. I have numerous pairs of high heels I can not walk in, not because I can't because in Europe cobblestone is everywhere, I cant wear those spikey heels, but do I still buy them?

Damn straight

5. I have to shave my pits everyday, or else I feel weird. Even if I do not shower, I need a quick sponge bath in that area and a shave with a quick application of Deodorant.

6. I always am worried about my smell, do I stink? Smell too nice?

Sigh.

7. I buy belts and scarfs because I love the look on other ladies, but I do not know how to wear them right or should say I feel I dont, so they sit there. useless.

8. I love to buy new beauty products, who needs 4 different types of cuticle cream?

Um, apparently me, right along with 5 different types of dry heel lotions and cream. I need to stop.

9. I hate to pluck my eyebrows, I have gotten them waxed for the last 5yrs and even let friends pluck them. If they get too bad, I hide behind my glasses and quit wearing contacts. I sneeze constantly while doing it and feel I over pluck. So would rrather be a bit out of control that too thin.

10. On that note, I love to be pampered and have girly things, waxes, pedicures, manicures etc..but hate taking the time to do it to myself. I get lazy and stop half way.=(

Well sadly I could go on, but I will leave this at 10 for now. I best be off to go and get ready for work. You lovely ladies have a good day..and if you read this, never read my blog before...COMMENT, tell me I am not the only one with problems. hehehe

Cut it up...Just Cut it UP!!

Only after all these transactions have gone through....soo I got a lil shopping crazy. I got some new shoes, then some shoes for my husbands, then some bags for me, with some clothes for my husband.

I should be done

BUT I AM NOT!! I can not help but snag up a deal.

So I have shopped 6pm.com before, saw good deals...but also stayed with some other stores and sites. Well not this past weekend. I went CRAZY on that site. I mean when you find an Ed Hardy shirt for less than 20 bucks..you get it right?? Or Kenneth Cole Sunglasses for your main squeeze 80% off you have to get it. It is just that everything is that marked down. So I figured I spent my monthly shoe budget, plus got some stuff for my hubby and the lil bro and lil sis.I should be happy, I should STOP.

Then THESE came to me, I got an email. Went to the website and saw these. These boots were made for walking, Betsey Johnson, Chocolate Brown Suede, Zip up the back...love me now...boots

I mean they are only $380 bucks..what a deal right?

Oops. Not fair of me. That is the retail price..pick your chin up. YOU KNOW I would not pay that. but $74 bucks. Um yes siiiiiirrrrrr I will. Then the next thing you know, these shoes look dirt cheap next to the Betsey's.

Jessica Simpson, snake printed high heels, these girls have got to be the cheapest Jessica Simpson's I have purchased @ $18 bucks. I think. I would have to go look. Oh who cares, I would still get them.

I am pretty in love with bows and polka dots right now. So these Dollhouse, flat, slip ons fit the bill. Plus at $8 dollars. Um HELLLOOOO! How can I not get these.

Wow. How many times have I said hello, right and crazy in this entry? Ignore my low vocab this entry. My brain is fried due to ...something.=)

I realized I do not have any brown high heels..well I thought so at the time of clicking, oh online shopping is just too easy. CLICK. These are a pair of studded Chinese Laundry slide ons, at $13.00(80% off) they went right in my shopping bag.

These Naughty Monkey's were only $11.00 and they had 3 left in my size, what an emergency.=)

These cute lil beaded lovelies are Kenneth Cole Reactions for my lil sister, only $8 smackroo's.

I guess with tax season around the corner, I just went deal crazy. But in order for me to not get the boot from my hubby, I will just tell him that it is Feb and March's Budget. That should work....um perhaps?=)

If not, then I will throw his goodies at him, then just do the age old trick of women around the world, pull each item out slowly..and say " These? I have had these forever"

I think I will wear a few to our trip to Spain in April. Which I mentioned on my other blog, but not sure if I did here. WE ARE GOING TO SPAIN. Oh heaven. I am so stoked. Yep I said stoked. I also say "dude", "I dig it" " peachy keen" " cool beans" and any other lame saying you can throw in there.=)

Lions, Tigers and BAGS..OH MY!

I think, I might have mentioned my love of bags right? Well I took a break from homework and um, well spent some money. Sssshh don't tell hubby.=) Wait a min I earn money, it shouldn't matter that I spend it all right?

I saw this Guess Hobo bag, I just had to have it. I have a yellow Nine West bag, but not this yellow and not a yellow hobo. Um..I need to have one of everything, well maybe not but you ladies understand right?right? Great, I thought so.=)

So I got it, annnnndd at less than $50 bucks when it normal is $118...heeeelllooo. Love it.

So I figured I was having such an awesome break from homework, that I would continue, who wouldn't.

I got a new laptop for school, a cute lil lime green one. I like lime green. Mu ipod is that color too. Anywwwhhooo. I had to get this rocker Steve Madden bag, it looks big enough for my laptop. So for only $22 bucks off of $110, well I can find another use for it. IF it does not fit my laptop.

Multi-use at it's best.

It is offical. I have a problem.

Now this is a problem I admit too, that I will never want to fix and I embrace it whole heartedly!

I am addticted to shoes.

Not just for myself,

For example

Hubby" You have been buying a lot of shoes lately"

Me" Um, really, I guess so"

Hubby " Maybe you should slack off a bit"

Me" Okay, I won't buy anymore for myself this week"

Hubby" What do you mean for yourself? You doing that word play again"?

Me"(giggle) No silly, I just mean I won't buy anymore for myself this week"

Hubby " hmmm, okay"

Well maybe that is not how it went down exactly...buuuut it is very close.

Oh and btw I do that, the word play, try to wiggle it in there to were I am agreeing but setting it up to were I can still get away with it. It's great.=)

So I wanted to show you the shoes I got for my husband on 6pm.com as well as a pair for my 13yr old brother. He needs new shoes constantly, he is growing like a weed. I am not sure if our savings account will be ready for our own child. These are pricey things to have. Children I mean.=)

Okay so I got him these.

Oh just so you know,he likes shoes, and um pants and just clothes, necklaces in gerneral. Okay..well maybe, I got him hooked. Let him realize there are a lot of stuff out there for men. You just have to search a bit harder than us ladies do sometimes. ::sigh:: I created a monster

So I realized he did not have a pair of blue or green sneaker/tennis shoes. So I haaad to fix that right?

These New Balances were only $38 bucks, and they have gone done in price.

Then these Adidas, remind me of jr.high, they were only $28 bucks.

Now these Dekline's were $17 when I bought them and now they are just under $14.

Bear in mind all these prices are roughly 75% less than retail or what they were. It pays to not have things right away, or to shop thrift or discount places. I refuse to pay full price for anything.

Oh and in case you wondering, which I know you were. I got a 100% on that last assignment I was talking about. I guess me being able to talk a lot is helping me out in this Sociology class.

Been awhile since Ebay Called my Name

I guess with my busy schedule of school, work and the family. I have not had time for my beloved ebay. Aww I missed you lover. But I was sick on Friday and had a chance to do some browsing and put some bids. I did not win some really cute wellies, or rain boots. I need a pair or two. I use to have several pair of stylish boots from living in Alaska, when you want to not just be wearing some snow clompers but be cute. But after living in Texas for almost 5yrs, I got rid of them. I have plenty of sandals and open toes now.=) Never can have to many shoes right? Anyways I will go on..so I now live in Boot captial of the world. Europe. So got to be getting some more, these patchworks are shorter than the usual style here. But I dig them.

I work with teens, so sometimes I might be able to wear heels, but I need more cute flats. I bid on these cute Aldo Tweed flats. 10.50. Gotta love ebay. I like the print on them as well.

Because of her I got SPECTACULAR deals on Nine West at 6pm.com, they are having their Nine West Shoes on sale for......14.95..OH MY!! So of course I went and got oh..about 4...eerr or 5 pair.=) The best thing about that is that I paid the price I would for ONE pair of Nine Wests at some places. NOW It is only going on for a short time. I think the end of this week So click on the couple of links I have provided and do some happy SOLE shopping.=) Yes I did that on purpose.hehehe.

I did choose a pair of comfy work shoes, that look like they will really let me breathe, well my feet breathe, while I chase around those kiddos.

The teal ones are so bright and simple I had to get them. Then I love the beads on these pointy fuschia pink ones.

This smooth looking gray pumps had to be mine when I saw that mini lil buckle.(remember into buckles and ruffles) plus it has rhinestones.=)

I finally got my Oct pair of Shoe Dazzle Memeberships shoes. I put on those lovely ruffles and they fit...sorta. I have been in denial about something, and putting those shoes on made me have to just accept it. You know those lovely little addtions us blessed women can get on the side of their feet?? From our best friends that are always able to make us smile?

Yes, I am talking about THOSE awful, dreaded...gross BUNIONS....(crying).... I earned them proudly(well proudly is stretching it)from before when i would wear slightly too tight( BIGGEST mistake), or way to uncomfortable(stupid me) but still wear them for 8 hours on my feet. (sigh) Plus my mom had to have one removed in her mid to late 20's as well. So that means I have to get them removed, and being in Belgium shall see when I can set up that doc appt...I did not want to have to have them removed. I wanted to keep pretending they were not that bad, because I know that means about what..6 months with NO HEELS.....

Yet I know I have to do it now, while still a lil bit close to young, that way can have plenty more years of wearing SMART choices of my lovely best friends. What I mean is to dinners, movies...things I am basically sitting down for.=) You know we ALL do this...get those killers and just choose to wear them on low level outings.

Falling Over for Buckles.

So fall is almost over and I have been running around like a chicken with it's heaad cut off that it almost passed me by. The amazing oranges and reds, the cooler weather and all. Well I am in love with buckles lately, buckles, ruffles and flats. Sooooo I wanted to give a couple of quick photos of some new shoes I got on sale. Down to a out of this world price..... 7 smackroos. I mean that is it 7 bucks. I thought how did these cute buggers get passed up for the 25% off, the 50% off and make me able to get them for 75% off?? PLus they are not that pricey to begin with. So I stopped with the hubs and the kids to take some lovely pics against the fall leaves. Figured get a few with the new pads on. Here you go.

P.S. I still have not had the time to get on and post the slideshow, I am sorry, oh and not forgetting about the Shoe Dazzle shoes. I just barely, I mean barely(this past Friday) got my Sept pair. sooo must get those pics up soon. Have fun Shopping y'all.

I know...i know.. I have been so bad, have not posted yet the pictures from London Purchases. See I did start the post, it is sitting there waiting for the slideshow of pictures. On my last day off I did the slideshow on rockyou. I get almost done, click save on a caption I added..and THEY ALL DISS...APPEAR. So needless to say that did not make me get in the mood to do it all over. After a few select choiced words for rockyou.com I saved the post and got off. Well I am still managing to balance my time with kids, hubby, me, work and school but not the email, phone calls, blog time. Phew...how do you mothers do it?? First month is an adjusment time period but still..to see how busy my life will be when I am 30 something or 40 something with 3 kids...man oh man..I am scared and not sure about it.=)

I digress though, from the title. Here is my Shoe Dazzle Purchase for October. I will hopefully get them in the mail, everything has been taking awhile here this last month. Then I will get a post up of me with the Sept and Oct Shoe's on...err probally 2010 before I do that.=)

I love them, and hope they are as cute in person. I am getting upset at how long they are taking to get here. But being APO I can not pin point if It is due to actual Shoe Dazzle themselves. But I am excited for the ruffles, I got black ones in Sept too. That now gives me...3 pairs of black high heels and one flat. I need more black.Shoot I think I need more of every color though.=)

It is that time again, SEPT 1st, means Shoe dazzle Stylists picked out 5 shoes for me, last month I said no so could have more money for my London Trip, which starts tommorow btw, Oxford Street here I come. Anyways...but I can choose a pair this month. I only like two. It just made the choice very easy.

I was going to choose these cute lil ruffled rasberry shorties at first. They looked soft and probally won't hurt my feet. But I realized since March have bought several rasberry, burgundy shoes. Needed to switch it up....well and as well cause I saw the other pair....the ones I actually said SEND ME THIS SHOE.

I choose these....AHhhhhh. Don't they just say MEOOOW? I saw that high perky heel, and the wild, "cagey" look and felt rocker chic right away. Then I saw the zipper on the back. AWESOME BONUS. So sorry cute and probally comfy rasberry shorties but I gotta go with the killers. Hope they turn out to be as well put together as my last Shoe Dazzle purchase.

I can not help but look at shoes online, I know I said I am or would be saving for London. But these shoes are great for work. I work with kids, primarly at a youth center. Soooo all my cute high heels not really suitable. I have some flats and sneakers, but I need to get some more..well ME work shoes that will not cause me to have blisters up the ass.=)

It has been years since I bought a pair of K-Swiss shoes for myself, mostly just get them for my hubby. But I love wearing sneakers, especially to work. Then finding them for $30(includes shipping) Well that tells me i should start to buy them again. ------>

Anti-Stress

So with all the things going on with my life right now a little anti stress routine is CRUCIAL Figured if anyone else is stressing(like most do) you might want to try this.
I found doing this nightly or atleast 3x a week, really makes me feel calm before I go to sleep, which then helps me actually GO TO SLEEP, instead of sitting there with my thoughts racing.

After washing my face, doing my toner and face cream I will use

~ Either the Orange Peels or the Cucumbers Peels for my eyes

~ Then I do This Soothing cool face mask

~Which I then follow with using this Anti-Stress Pillow

~ I then rub Nieva Cream onto my elbows, neck and hands

That little nightly routine, makes me feel so much more relaxed!!!

Something I love about the Earth Theraputic's brand is that they are cost effective. I can still get some pamper stuff and not go broke. Of course there are the products that are "pay raise" type products, but I will save those for another post!

High End Street Shopping

So I did post any August shoe buys this month, because I am saving my mula for my London trip begining of Sept. I have been there before but not overnight yet. I will be there for 4 days. So of course I will be shopping on HIGH END STREET. I have looked at those stores in my UK edtions of Cosmo, Marie Clarie etc...and looonged to shop there.

NOW I CAN!

I will have to be careful when I am looking at these, being velet or fake velvet they could ruin quite easily. So I will make sure I think about it. But I like the simple look of them.

This reminds me of the 80's like no other, it is really in over here in Europe. Espeically the UK. I looove this dress though. Not to 80's. I have been on a polka dot kick since June as well.

I have nothing floral, cause well I was never really into in my early 20's. I have seen so many wonderful prints this spring/summer so I figured what the heck, I would get some. My first purchase was the nine west pumps. But I hope they still have this dress in the store, I want it, it has pockets too. Plus I could put a jacket and pair of closed toe pumps and it would be professional.

I love the bright pink color and the funky straps, plus the heel is not thick but not thin, A lil pricey though at over 100 bucks.Still should be on the maybe list.

These destroyed boyfriend jeans from Topshop I think were roughly 30 bucks converted to the US Dollar. Not bad I say.

I looooove this dress, I like that it looks like a 2 piece and it is not. The deep burgandy is a good color against my skin tone I think too.

I know I do not normally post clothes, but I figure since a special trip will post some of the outfits I am digging and might buy. What do you think?

This comfy shirt is at Matalan, a really cheap place to shop in London. It is going for less than 20 bucks. That is with the conversion from pounds into dollars. I would wear this with the pair of destroyed boyfriend jeans.

I always wanted a pair of Wellies, these are going for less than 20 bucks as well. Aren't they cute, to bad we adults can not look as carefree and cute running and splashing in the rain. Here in Belgium it rains like it does in London, so I will get good use out of these.

I started setting up this post, to show y'all my shoes, and because they are hot pink, I started singing Aerosmith's "Pink". Sooooo though it was fitting to put some of the words in the title of the blog. I know these are not high heels, but I had to have them. I work with kids at a youth center..so can not wear high heels every day. It seemed like a good idea to get more flats and such.

Shoe Dazzle

So this post has been a long time coming, I apologize. I have 3 other pair of sweet shoes to post on here as well. Real Life, got in my way of blogging. HOW DARE IT!!=)

So here is the promised, step by step reaction to Shoe Dazzle.

Step 1. Get the box.

Step 2. Open the box, to get to another box. Eerrrr mmmk, well atleast this one has pretty flowers on it.=)

Step 3. Open that pretty box to see the pretty shoes. I was hit with what smelled like real leather, that can not be??? I figured it would be fake for that price. Well if it is fake, this novice can not tell. They are protected really well. Each shoe is wrapped by itself, then it has foam stuffed it in to keep the shape. Which a lot of strappy shoes don't do. Plus they include a protective bag. I really like that some shoes and bags are doing that more frequently it is nice. That way they are protected, regardless if you keep the box.

Step 4. See the pretty shoes, I tried them on, but those pictures will not be posted. Because my toes were looooking fffffff-ugly. =) It is a real word, well in the Bridgette's Dictionary. I am happy 40 bucks, for a good pair of high, simple white, sturdy feeling heels.

My husband from some reason thinks they are ugly? What do you gals think? I just wanted a pair of white heels, I do not have any, well I did not have any. The other choices seemed to shiny, and sometimes I attribute shiny with cheap. When it comes to shoes, okay well shoes I do not trust.

All in all, I will do shoe dazzle again. I did not do it this month since I will be going to London for 5 days. They are on the pound, and they have AWESOME stores. Soo saving for shopping up there.

I will hopefully be posting a bit more regulary now that life has calmed down. I hope the people who were reading me keep it up, I love readers.=) If you have done Shoe Dazzle, let me know what you thought.

So it will be a bit before I can read all of our your fabolous blogs, see your lovely outfits Iwish I had and comment on your awesome style. I have lots to do, I am getting custody of my 3 younger siblings, and it is happening very soon, with all that and college I have missed to many days and already have toooons of blogs to catch up on. It is a long story but in short

I had a crappy childhood, love my mom but she has issues and things she has always needed to fix, in a bad, bad place right now and it is not good for my two brothers and sister(ages 12,10 and 9) soo I mentioned letting my husband and I have custody for a year, let them have a happy home and big bonus it is in Europe. Well she said yes, so have passports, court paperwork, miltary paperwork, looking into getting them into the school system, etc etc etc..getting house ready, make up their rooms,.phew

So this is just to say If you notice the absences of my comments, which I hope you might =) hahah just kidding y'all have so many followers. Plus me not posting any shoe posts. That is why, it might be too much info for some of you, I just wanted to put it out there.

UPDATE*** July 1st

I started to write this back on the 21st of June, even TOOK this long to finish it. I have bought two new pair of shoes, some awesome rings on etsy and numberous other crap to hurry and get some new stuff in before my ban started. I will be posting those pictures..well um sometime in the summer.=) I said I would do it from July 1st to the 31st. It is the 2nd day and I am doing okay. Just have to have the power to delete the emails I get with all the good deals.

So I heard about ShoeDazzle on several blogs, so I signed up, did the fashion survey and waited for the choices the "stylists" picked out for me. I was/am curious about 39 bucks a month, with no obligation to actually purchase would be like. I mean I love good deals on high heels, but I have never heard of Micheal Antonio. I read a blog that said this girl loved her monthly shoes. Soooooooo I did it!!! So here are the two out of the five that I most liked. =)

On the Prowl

Almost time for June, I am so happy too. Well DUH of course it is because I have my shoe budget all over again!=) As well though that my summer plans can start to kick off. So far we have a trip planned to Germany in the end of June possible beg of July, camping in France in the middle of July, then my dear hubby has a training class type work errr thingy in August in London(I LOVE THAT TOWN) so going to go be with him for just 4-5days. Plus then August means fall classes will start, my trip back home to the Utah for a week to see my gram then onto Scotland for Halloween.=) Phhhhewww! All done I think? Those are just the for sure plans. OOoh wow the rain is just coming down hard on my windows. It was so nice and sunny here yesterday, which made it so hot in this old house that we had 3 fans in the bedroom. Wait..this is a shoe blog enough of the blah, blah and blah that I should save more my journal style blog.

So because I have a new shoe budget becoming available in a matter of days, time to prowl the scene, I have yet to find those black Steve Madden's I want in a cheaper price. However I did find these?

Helpful Tips..I think

Figured that I would post some helpful things I do in order for my feet not to be hurt by a good cute pair of heels, heck even flats can rub the back of your heel and hurt you. Some many girls stay away from heels because they do not want to deal with the pain. That is smart, you do not want to have shoes that outright cause pain...but the ocassionaly blister, sore heel are worth it for some of the designs.

I have found ways to help prevent all that, 80% of the time it works and I love it....if i really love them and they hurt to bad I just wear them to dinner or some place I will be sitting, then get home and wash the blood out of them....=)

1.wrap some medical tape around the sides of your toes, prevents the rubbing,
2. Put the badnaids made for blisters on the back of my heel before one starts to give some extra padding.
3. Do the inserts on the back of shoes and the bottom, gel ones are the best
4. Realize no matter how comfy the heels are, they are not made for 2mil walks.=)
5. If I have the time soak them in Dead Sea salt, and when I had a foot bath did that and used the massage option. Need to still buy one that is on the 220 system
6. I also well take the shoes off as soon as I get home, elevate my feet, and at night rub this tinglly anti stress cream into my piggies.

A lovely fellow blogger mentioned moleskin as an awesome helper. I have heard about it but have not used it, I think that would work better than the medical tape.

I also forgot to mention one type of the pads I like to use if I can not get the gel ones I used to buy at shibyjourneys.com are the awesome ones they sell at foot petals. They have so many different types for every type of style. Go check them out.

Oh and FYI next week I will be doing a post on pedicure tips and stuff to keep your piggies happy.

Hey!! How are all the fellow shoe lovers doing? Well I just wanted to put a quick post about some awesome deals and websites that I have looking at.

First off shi via journeys updated their website and it is AWESOME and easy to shop now.

I want to tell you as well to go to 6pm.com, they have some great deals on favorite brands. Which is also the clearance place for Zappos which we all love,but sometimes I know just for me, I hate paying the full prices.

Great News to me, I found out Kmart, YES you heard me right, KMART has runway where they do knockoff's of designer shoes. WOW. CUTE AND CHEAP. I will order a pair and see the duriabilty and such and tell you later.

I can not forget to mention my favorite place to buy, at shoemetro via ebay. This seller has all the namebrans, cheap prices. UNBEATABLE. I order from them every month. Who can not love paying 70 bucks cheaper for Steve Madden, Jessica Simpson and Nine West shoes??

I also read about a website called ebates.com? Anyone else used them before? Or heard about it? I guess I am slow and have not seen anything about it yet.(sigh) I will try it out and let you know.

Even though this is a shoe blog, I was tagged by this lovely young lady Kayla. She btw is graduating this week.... so YAHOO CONGRATS TO HER. I would have posted it in my personal blog but this is the one she follows. Since this blog is new and I appreciate anyone who wants to follow it. I figured best to get more posts on here. So here goes it.

1. What is your current obsession? Hmm would have to say shoes, purses, double stuff oeros and bubble baths.

2. What is your weirdest obsession? I have to clean my belly button(deep innie) nose, and ears everyday with Q-Tips. Not sure how it started but I do not feel clean if those are not.

3. What are you wearing today?A gray lounge shirt and burgandy colored yoga type pants. It is almost 1am over here and should be doing history homework. So you can tell those are not fancy clothes activities.

4. What's for dinner? Well I made a baked whole chicken with butter shoved inside with special seasonings, roasted potatoes sprinkled with olive oil and parsley,rolls, gravy and steamed beans.

5. Why is today special? Because tech it is weds right now and that means it is HUMP DAY and the week is half-way over. Other than that nothing special.

6. What would you like to learn to do? To take photos the way Gergoia, Claire and Jamie do. To speak every lanuage on earth and to learn to ballroom dance.

7. What's the last thing you bought? Today bought my dogs two balls, and a bottle of Moscato. Which is a dry, semi sweet white wine.

8. What are you listening to right now?A mixed playlist I made on my ipod. It has Neko Case, Duffy, Deftones, 30 Secs to Mars, Mudvanye,Beyonce,Prince, BIlly Idol.. etc.. you seem what I mean by mixed??

9. What is your favorite weather? Bright and Sunny with a light breeze. Maybe around low70's. That is great weather. Usually late Spring type.

10. What is your most challenging goal right now? Getting this history homework done, finishing college and keeping focused on loosing the weight I gained.

11. What do you think about the person who tagged you? Well I can not really pass a true judgement on her since I have only read her blog for a few days. She seems like a bright youg lady who is at the begining of the road and seems to have great taste in classic metal music.

12. If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where would you like it to be? In London, England or Dublin, Ireland or Austin, Texas. If I could have all 3 I would.

13. What was your first car? A 1999 Dodge Neon Sport, that was purplish.

14. What would you like to get rid of? This extra weight and family drama

15. Favorite Books? Wow, well how long can this be? I love to read. Even with all the reading with my school I still like to read for pleasure. Right now reading Kelly Amstrong series, Laura K. Hamilton, I just re-read The Notebook last week for the 50th time. Some good ole cheesy romance novels are great. Biographies, I read Grace and Power, The Kennedy's. I also love Anne Rice, Harry Potter, John Grisham, Stephanie Myer, Christine feehan, etc etc etc. I constantly love to find new authors and to grow my at home library.

16. Which language do you want to learn? I would like to learn French fluently, especially since I live in a french speaking country till 2012. As well to learn Spanish fluently. Since I know a decent bit of both.

17. What do you look for in a friend?Trust,Humor,Loyal,Fun to be around, accept me for me, have some what similar morals,sometimes different than me type of people. I have truly been blessed with the people I find in my life.

18. Who do you want to meet right now? My mom, well the mom she used to be, myself in 10yrs to help me with the now.

19. What is your favorite color? Right now Sage Green, Red,Purple and White
20. What is your favorite piece of clothing in your own closet?I have many, I can't just pick one! However to humor you, my olive green shirt with pink sleeves(it is cute TRUST ME) that my great gram gave me when I was 17. SHe is not with us anymore so I love that. Oh and my wedding dress, my Sex Pistols shirt, my first Steve Madden heels. Ugh see there I go with more than one.

21. What is your dream job?Being an elmentary school teacher with my masters in Psychology as well so I could be a counselor. Help out children and teens that live in the enviorments I grew up in.

22. Any favorite model? My best friend Kira, she models in Utah. Such a goregous gal inside and out. I guess "famous" would be Adrianne Lima?(victoria Secret one) I am not big on knowing models.
23. If you had $100 now, what would you spend it on? Sending it to my siblings in Ak.

24. Favorite food at the moment? This crumb cake I baked and am eating. I got fat for a reason. I always have loved food, LESSON TO ALL YOU MUST BURN WHAT YOU CONSUME. I think food is a passionate thing, I love to eat and to cook for others and give them a hospitable enviorment.

25. Your favorite thing right now? Life, my loved ones

26. What do you consider a fashion faux pas? not caring about yourself. Does not matter what style you have or how un cool you think it may be. Take pride in yourself. No matter how big,small, plain, hot or ugly you think you are. Some will like you, yet you must remeber that first person should be YOU.

27. Do you admire anyone's style? Oh yes tons of peoples. Famous and just people in my cirlce. Espeically anyone who loves their clothes and just rocks them. Does not care if it is techinally "in" or not.

28. Describe your personal style? Ever Changing,

29. What are you going to do after this? Finish my history homework like I should.

30. What would you love to see come back in fashion? manners and the respect for marriage.

31. What is would you be doing right now if you have no work/school/responsibilities/general obligations to anyone or anything? Volunteer a lot, read in the sun all day, nap with my hubby

I know I said I was not into the whole bondage look a lot of the designs seemed to have for the Spring/Summer 09'. But I am eating my words, because I found these two pair and va-va-VOOOM I love them.

Personally I love the wrap around, the chunkiness and the details. HOWEVER am not really digging this whole fringe thing, even the ones that look like they belong in a bondage film. But it is nice to see some real different designs.

I am kinda thinking 1 of these 3 pairs below

I know I never let you know what pair I got. Well I almost went with the Chunky Blue ones since they went on sell but the thrift girl in me went ahead and tried for the ebay ones.

AND THE WINNER IS

NEITHER PAIR, I lost on them. That is the only downside to EBAY no guarntee. HOWEVER I did not give up and I choose 3 other ones. I WON ALL 3. I can only show you two of them since the 3rd one has their picture protected. Guess that will have to be a on foot picture huh? So tell me whatcha think? Heel of a Choice

So It is time for my monthly purchase...I have or should say I prefer to buy a pair a month. 1- Makes me feel attached to some form of my old lifestyle 2- Helps prevent me from then buying 3 or 4 at a time 3- Because shoes just make sense. =)

Wild thing....I think I love you....

I love these Steve Madden's, I need some more leporard print shoes. I got these at a Steve Madden Sale. I got 2 pair for 50 Bucks. Ahhhhh, sigh! Gotta love those sales. I always wait till things are out of "season" when I really want them. Cause when I really want them they are usually waaay to pricey. Who ever came up with the idea of outlet stores, clearance, online discount wharehouses, deserve the Nobel Prize.

My other "wild" shoes are these purple, almost look like stripper shoes. I really enjoy these, the pop or purple(one of my favorite colors), the print, but the style reminds me of something you would see on stage. To lessen that impact I wear them with black pants.

So these great high heels are from the Jessica Simpson Collection, they are an awesome shade of POMEGRANTE!! I love them. I WON them on EBAY for less than 30. Now that includes shipping. If you like brand names like Steve Madden, Jessica Simpson, Guess..etc there is a great place on ebay called ShoeMetro. GO CHECK THEM OUT!!

As well the green shirt under neath it was to kinda give y'all a lil peek of what I shall be wearing on St. Patty's Day in Dublin. I assumed the green would really pop with dark jeans and those shoes. I think I am right? How about you??

Then this other pair I got at Marshall's before I left the states they are Madden Girl which is an off branch of Steve Madden. I love them because even though I'm a tall girl naturally(almost 5'10) I still love a good pair of heels and these are 4 inches.

So that is all for now just thought I would be super busy and not able to get any pictures of my shoes on here but had some time so wanted to show atleast one.

So I have decided to make a shoe blog. I am obessed with shoes, well not just shoes but purses, necklaces,rings, belts....put those all into a big lump. YOU GOT AWESOME ACCESSORIES!!=) I have seen a few people make a few different blogs for their loves. I have my one to vent, post pictures, poems whatever I want. Then you have the one I am doing with Jen Jen on our picture a week thing. If you want to check that out go here. So I figured I really, really would like one for shoes and who knows I might thrown in the occasional fabby bag & delicious cocktail ring!!!

Now I can not go to some of my favorite places to buy nice shoes cheap. Like Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Target, etc. Being that I am alllllllll the way over here in Belgium for the next 4yrs. BUT thanks to the awesomeness that is the world wide web. I have ebay, zappos, shi(journeys) target.com, wholesale websites....plus all those thousands I have yet to find. Oh and do not worry I will shoe you(haha get it it) the ones I find at these awesome European stores you lovely fellow amercian's do not have access to.

So If you see only this post, still save me. I am going to take some pics of my shoes, show you glimpses of those I am trying to win on ebay, possibly the latest trends on the "fashion scene". SO stay tuned this great lil thing is still in the works.
